Government schools calling for students to pay the full fees

The departments of government schools, parents of resident students, who are studying in government schools, called for the full tuition fees for the current academic year 2024-2025, which does not exceed 6000 dirhams annually for each student, warning of the implications of lack of commitment to pay the fees, most notably withholding results, prohibiting educational platforms, and suspending registration for the next year.
Schools stressed the need to pay the third installment of the tuition fees for the academic year 2024-2025, stressing that it is assumed that the current 1st April will be the deadline for completing the payment.
She said in conversations that mimic parents through their digital platforms and text messages via phones, which were seen by «Emirates Today», that these claims come within the framework of organizing financial operations and ensuring the continuity of educational services without stumbling.
The departments indicated that the lack of commitment to settle the dues entails taking firm measures, including blocking the results of the exams, preventing access to educational platforms, and perhaps the suspension of registration for the next academic year 2025-2026.
She emphasized that educational and administrative services will be withheld from students who are not committed to payment, which may affect their academic career.
The departments stated that this step comes within the framework of ensuring the stability of educational institutions, and their ability to provide high -quality educational services without any operational obstacles.
In this context, a number of administrative officials in some government schools (the newspaper maintains their names), saying: “The commitment to pay the tuition fees on time is necessary to ensure the continuity of the provision of academic and administrative services, and there will be no exceptions after the deadline, except according to specific policies that are accurately reviewed.”
The departments called on parents to maintain payment receipts to return to them when needed, noting the importance of cooperation between families and schools to ensure the progress of the educational process smoothly.
Schools have warned that the lack of commitment to pay the fees during the scheduled date will lead to the delay in students ’registration for the next year, and to take escalation measures to ensure the collection of dues, which may include direct communication with parents, and the imposition of administrative and academic restrictions on non -committed students.
In this context, school principals told «Emirates Today»: “We realize the challenges that some parents may face, but the specific financial dates must be committed, as any delay may affect the educational services provided to all students.”
School claims sparked different reactions between parents, as some see that it is a necessary measure to ensure that everyone adheres to financial responsibilities, while others expressed their concern about the impact of successive official occasions (Ramadan, Eid Al -Fitr Eid and Spring’s vacation) in their ability to pay.
In this regard, school administrations confirmed that they are ready to study the exceptional cases facing financial difficulties, calling on parents to communicate early with schools in the event of special arrangements.
With the date of the deadline, and the failure to announce any extension of the payment period, the departments advised the parents to completely pay the fees, to avoid any obstacles that may affect the education of their children, stressing that cooperation between the family and the educational institution is the key to the success of the educational process.
The procedures imposed by schools recently focus on achieving financial discipline and ensuring the sustainability of educational services, which reflects positively on the quality of education and the future of students.
