Dubai World Cup .. a history of excellence and dazzling horse races

Dubai, April 5 / WAM / Dubai will lead the global scene again today by organizing the evening of the 29th edition of the Dubai World Cup in the field of field, to enhance the sustainability of its success, and its body by attracting the best and strongest horses globally, owners, coaches and knights from different countries and continents, in one of the most important international sporting events and events in equestrian sport.

The Dubai Horse Racing Club has completed its arrangements for the start of the race on the field of field, which represents a global masterpiece since its official opening in 2010, with its modern facilities, integrated infrastructure, and modern facilities, which reflects the position of the UAE and the Emirate of Dubai in attracting global sporting events and various sporting championships.
Over the past 28 versions, horses have alternated in winning titles, as the Emirates horses crowned the title 13 times, through “Singbil” 1997, “Al -Mutawakkil” 1999, “Dubai Millennium” 2000, “Street Cray” 2002, “Moon Balad” 2003, “Electroshonst” 2006, “Infasor” 2007, “Montrosu” 2012, and ” Story 2014, “Prince Bishop” 2015, “Thunder Snow” 2018 and 2019, and “Mestic Jade” 2021.
American horses achieved their eight victories via “Cigar” in the first edition 1996, “Silver Sham” 1998, “Captain Steve” 2001, “Blazentley Perfum” 2000, “Rosie Ni” 2005, “Kerlene” 2008, “Will Armad” 2009, and “California Chrome” 2016.
The Saudi horses won three times through “Arujet” 2017, “Kantry Granmer” 2022, and “Laurel River” 2024, while the Japanese horses won twice through “Victory Pisa” 2011, and “Oshaba Tisuro” 2023, while once won the Brazilian horse “Gloria de Campio” 2010, and the Australian “Animal Kenimal” 2013.
The evening consists of 9 runs, as the competition for titles in the Dubai race is launched as a classic 1 category for authentic Arabian horses, while the main race of $ 12 million in the sponsorship of Emirates Airlines witnesses a strong competition between Japanese horses Oshba Tesuru, Fur Ever Young, a group of strong American horses, and some other horses.
Hilal Al -Alawi, owner and international horse coach, stressed that the Dubai World Cup is not just a horse race, but rather a global sporting demonstration that reflects the UAE’s vision in leadership and excellence, as the unique event brings together the elite of horses, knights and owners from the countries of the world, to form a painting of excellence, creativity and impressive organization that reflects the UAE’s professionalism in hosting the most prominent international events.
He explained that the event is more than a race, because it represents a celebration of equestrian, a title for Arab pride, and an embodiment of ambition that does not know the borders, led by a wise and inspiring leadership that believes that excellence is made only by insistence, passion and giving, indicating that the Dubai World Cup proves in every copy of the world that it is one of the strongest and most ancient races around the world, status, organization and distinction.
The coach, Saeed Al Shamsi, described the Dubai World Race as a global platform that provides a distinctive image of success through the participation of the elite horses, knights, owners and trainers around the world, and the follow -up of millions of racing lovers its various and unique activities that have reached the world with the distinguished organization and the continuous development in hosting competition that attracts the world’s attention.
Al -Shamsi stated that the Dubai World Cup evening tonight is the peak of the international race season, in which the best horses and the most powerful coaches are highlighted in a direct confrontation on the most advanced track in the world, especially since the victory of any horse in this tournament not only gives him a huge financial prize, but his name is established in history records as one of the greatest horses ever, in addition to the value he represents in the development of coaches and educators.
The coach Hamad Al -Murr said that the Dubai World Horse Cup also contributes to placing Dubai on the map of the global horse racing, thanks to the distinguished organization and strong competition that extends to the fans who attend or follow the race via the screens, in addition to the various activities that take place in conjunction with the evening.
