المملكة: 140 researchers from 56 international universities at the Founder’s Digital Communication Conference

King Abdulaziz University, represented by the College of Communication and Information, is organizing the digital communication conference under the slogan “Communication .. Media and More” during the period from April 29 to May 1, 2025, at the King Faisal Convention Center in Jeddah.
The conference aims to enhance integration between communication and media education institutions and between professional bodies and practitioners in the field of specialization, and to anticipate the future of the media in the era of digital communication.

Digital Communication Conference at the Founder University

140 researchers from 56 universities participate in 12 countries, as well as specialists in institutional communication and digital marketing from major companies, in addition to institutional communication officials from various government agencies.
In this year, the conference includes 10 dialogue sessions that discuss the future of communication and media education institutions in the digital age, and the role of government communication in crises.
In addition to the role of artificial intelligence in the media field, and the impact of technical innovation on the content industry, in addition to the challenges facing media and press institutions in the digital environment.

The conference is accompanied by 10 workshops, discussing the most prominent professional practices in digital media, the impact of artificial intelligence on the media scene, in addition to effective communication strategies through digital platforms, and identifying the techniques of public opinion industry in digital media.

Digital transformations

The Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Amin bin Youssef Numan, stressed that the conference reflects the university’s keenness to keep pace with digital transformations in the communication sector and its arts, and to enhance the exchange of experiences between researchers and practitioners in the field.
The Dean of the College of Communication and Information, Dr. Ayman Bagnid, stated that the conference aims to restore media communication specialties in light of digitization, and highlight the most important issues and challenges facing the media sector.
And that the convening of this conference comes within the framework of the strategic plan for the College of Communication and Media “The Impact” that aims to achieve academic leadership, promote research innovation, and prepare qualified media cadres that keep pace with digital transformations and enhance the national identity.
