The Jordanian monarch arrives in Cairo to participate a triple summit with Sisi and Macron

He arrived in Cairo today, Monday, the Jordanian monarch, King Abdullah II, at the head of a delegation on a short visit to Egypt, during which he participated in a triple summit that brought him together with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi and the French Emmanuel Macron to discuss the latest developments in the region.
Ambassador Mohamed El -Shennawi, the official spokesman for the Egyptian presidency, said earlier today in a media statement that the tripartite summit aims to discuss the developments of the regional situation, including the situation in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
During his visit to Cairo, the French President announced that he rejects “strongly the forced displacement of the population or any annexation process, whether in Gaza or in the West Bank.”
Macron stressed in a press conference with his Egyptian counterpart that this will be “a violation of international law and a serious threat to the entire security of the region, including Israel’s security.”
