“Dubai International Project Management” issues 12 recommendations on sustainable cities, digital transformation, future functions and projects

Participants in the tenth session of the Dubai World Projects Management Forum, organized by the Roads and Communications Authority, recommended the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, from 13 to 16 January, in cooperation with the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, Emaar Real Estate, Dubai International Ports (DPDDRED), and the Institute of Project Management (PMI), with 12 recommendations A mission related to the four axes of the forum: sustainable cities, digital transformation, future jobs, future projects management, and their 19 main and subsidiary courses.

The Roads and Transport Authority, during its organization of the Dubai International Project Management Forum in its tenth session, reviewed four specialized studies to display its experiences in the road and transportation system and its importance in achieving the quality of life to make Dubai a sustainable city that provides solutions and initiatives in the environmentally friendly transportation, and achieving its vision in “global leadership in easy and sustainable movement.”
The four studies included projects: (3D printing technology), (Development of Horse Street), (metro stations improvements), and the project (launching an integrated institutional platform for designing and developing artificial intelligence solutions).
– The lesson in three -dimensional printing
The first study dealt with the inauguration of the authority for the first electrical lesson in the world, manufactured with 3D printing technology in cooperation with the private sector, accommodating 20 passengers and includes the longest monochromatic printed with three -dimensional printing technology, with a length of 11 meters, a width of 3.1 meters and sponsored in its design and manufacturing to preserve the heritage identity of the lesson.

The authority pursued a new method of implementing the project, to accelerate the pace of work and reduce the implementation period from 18 months, to 9 months, by 50%, and 5,000 engineers and workers participated in its implementation on a daily basis, and the working hours reached six million hours, and 650 mechanisms and mechanisms were used on a daily basis.
Developing 3 metro stations
The third study of the authority was concerned with the project to develop the entrances of three stations on the red line of the Dubai metro and its surrounding infrastructure, which is the Dubai Internet City Station, the Shuba Real Estate Station and the United Arab Emirates Exchange Station, where the process of improving these stations was chosen according to several criteria, including the number of passengers in the stations, the number of users of determination, the population density around it and the geographical distribution of the areas surrounding the stations, and the number of transport trips from Other way to another.

Artificial Intelligence Platform
The fourth study, launched by the authority, was attached to an integrated institutional platform for designing and developing artificial intelligence solutions and data science, designed according to the best international standards, in cooperation with a number of leading international companies, for use in training innovative models, such as predictive maintenance of roads and bridges, planning of mass transport paths, crowd management and others.
