"Sharjah Heritage" It launches specialized courses to enhance traditional crafts

Sharjah, April 9 / WAM / The Sharjah Institute of Heritage launched a series of specialized training courses in the traditional crafts of Al -Asala Club, at the headquarters of the Organizations Center for Cultural Heritage in the University City in Sharjah and will continue until April 10.

The project aims to enable women to acquire traditional skills that contribute to preserving the cultural heritage of Emirati society, which enhances the role of women in society and highlights their effective contribution to preserving the traditional heritage. This initiative is an important step towards activating the social role of women and enabling them to achieve leadership in this field.

His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al -Muslim, head of the Sharjah Heritage Institute, said that these training courses aim to empower Emirati women and enhance their role in preserving our ancient cultural heritage, noting that this initiative comes within the framework of the continuous commitment of the institute to provide educational and training opportunities that contribute to preserving and developing traditional crafts that constitute an essential part of our cultural identity and contribute significantly to strengthening the role of women in Emirati society as it will be a pivotal step in Preserving the local cultural heritage.
