1.9 million guests attend the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi during Ramadan and Eid Al -Fitr vacation

Abu Dhabi, April 10/ WAM/ The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center witnessed multiple activities during the holy month of Ramadan, where large numbers of guests flocked to the mosque, their total number reached 1.890,144 guests between worshipers and visitor during the holy month of Ramadan and Eid Al -Fitr.

The number of worshipers who performed the prayers in the mosque was 562,632 worshipers, of whom 193,435 worshipers were in the evening prayer and Tarawih, and 195,987 worshipers in the Tahajjud prayers, and he lived on the night of 27 Ramadan 72,533 worshipers.

The rituals of Eid Al -Fitr prayer were performed 26,025 worshipers, and the mosque received 391.011 visitors during the same period, and the total guests of the mosque during the Eid Al -Fitr holiday reached 122,819 guests, including 57,629 worshipers, and 64,959 visitors, the center presented them with an exceptional experience in the mosque, and the number of guests of the mosque witnessed more than 10% compared to Ramadan 1445, although that Ramadan 1446 was 29 days.
The mosque received approximately 11,240 visitors during the days of the holy month, and the number of tours in the mosque reached 289 rounds that joined 4.270 visitors, and the number of reservations for tourism companies reached 6,774 reservations, including 128,361 visitors, while the reservations of official delegations reached 75 reservations, which included 1.126 visitors.

The center doubled the number of workers in the feet room, which received 4,436 calls, and coordination with Abu Dhabi TV to broadcast prayers daily in a live broadcast, reached millions throughout the globe.
Within the “Fasting Guests” project, the center worked under the auspices of the “Heritage of the Humanitarian Foundation”, and in the strategic partnership with “Heritage Hotel”, on the distribution of breakfast and suhoor meals, where the hotel prepared 2.625,568 breakfast meals, of which 898,288 meals were distributed in the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, and 442,345 meals in the Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Mosque in Al Ain, And 1,160,000 meals were distributed to labor cities in Abu Dhabi, and 105,935 meals distributed in different areas of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

The center also distributed 19 thousand meals in the last ten days of the blessed month of Ramadan, to those who revived it in the mosque, as part of the “Fasting Guests” project, and embodying the values ​​of giving that instilled the founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, its roots in the UAE society.
The center gave the opportunity to enjoy a Ramadan atmosphere in the dome of peace and the mosque market, which includes a variety of stores and restaurants, in addition to external stalls at the market dome, and the Ramadan market, which included 22 booths distributed in the external square of the mosque on its northern and southern sides.
The center implemented more than 11 initiatives that embodied its mission and religious and civilizational role, as the center hosted 4 Ramadan lectures for the Mohammed bin Zayed Council at the headquarters of the Council in the mosque, and 18 lectures were organized by the owners of virtue scholars, the guests of the President of the State, in cooperation with the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat.

The center presented 13 episodes of the “Bridges” program represented by the participation of more than 1,200 people, who represented 13 embassies to the country, and a number of authorities and institutions, in addition to a number of the center’s employees, who met together in the fields of volunteering and on breakfast tables under the umbrella of the tolerant Islamic values.

The mosque hosted the blood donation campaign, in cooperation with the Blood Bank in Abu Dhabi, and the center distributed the voice Qur’an with the recitation of the mosque’s imam Idris Abkar and Yahya Aishan to the worshipers, on the occasion of “Zayed Day for Humanitarian Action” that falls on the 19th of Ramadan of each year, and on the sidelines of the event organized by the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat, and hosted by Rehab Al -Jami.
The center mocked all its capabilities to highlight Ramadan activities, as it worked to produce more than 100 media articles, and more than 700 local, regional and international media circulated during the blessed month of Ramadan, and the mosque was also referred through through various media and social media platforms through more than 3.600 news and photographer report.
The organizational committees at the center formed volunteer work teams from all the employees of the center without exception, according to their different fields and specializations, all of whom worked to provide the best services to worshipers, to perform their prayers in comfort, reverence and ease, supporting them in their duties volunteers from the UAE Red Crescent Authority and the “Absher Ya Watan” volunteer team, the “Ma’an Volunteer” team, policemen, paramedics, civil defense men, staff and assistants For traffic systems, the total number of volunteers has reached more than 580 volunteers.
The center appreciates the efforts of more than 20 governmental and private bodies and institutions that have been cooperating with it annually, which contributed to its active and integrated giving to the success of the work system during the holy month.

The efforts of the center also included during the holy month to provide services for worshipers in each of the Sheikh Khalifa Al -Kabir Mosque in Al Ain City, the Sheikh Zayed Al -Kabeer Mosque in the Emirate of Fujairah, and the Sheikh Khalifa Al -Kabeer Mosque in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, where the total number of worshipers in the Sheikh Khalifa Al -Kabeer Mosque in Al Ain reached 290,331 worshipers, including 99,746 worshipers for dinner and Tarawih prayer The breakfast in the mosque is 442.345 breakfasts, while it saw 32.030 chapels for Eid Al -Fitr prayer.

The total worshipers in the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Fujairah reached 122,347 worshipers, of whom 61,084 are praying for dinner and Taraweeh prayer, 27,662 worshipers for Tahajjud prayers, and 30,268 worshipers for Eid Al -Fitr prayer, while the total number of worshipers in the Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al -Kabeer Mosque in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah was 39.783 worshipers, of whom 19,577 Prayer for dinner and Taraweeh prayer, 10.399 prayers for tahajjud prayer, and 3,430 prayers for Eid Al -Fitr prayer.
