Oil prices decreased today during Thursday’s trading, amid the escalation of the trade war between the United States of America and China, as a result of raising customs duties.
Brent crude decreased by 2.5% at $ 64.09, while the price of NIMEX fell by 1.4% to $ 61.50.
US President Donald Trump has decided to raise customs duties imposed on goods from China to 125%, instead of the previous 104%, while China imposed 84%definitions on American imports starting today April 10, 2025.
