المملكة: Monday .. the start of the work of the World Water Forum 2027 in Riyadh

The next Monday, the first preparatory meeting of the eleventh global water forum, to be held in March 2027 under the slogan “Working for a Better Tomorrow”; In cooperation with the World Water Council, the wide participation of the public and private sectors, international and local organizations, and a group of experts, officials and those interested in water issues locally and internationally.
The activities of the first preparatory meeting will witness during the 14th and 15th of April 2025 AD, the opening meeting and the meeting of the stakeholders, and the preparation of the forum, which constitutes the largest meeting in the fields of water in the world, and defining the topics of discussion of importance and priority globally.

Innovative solutions

Also organizing a number of sessions and workshops with the participation of local and international speakers, which reflects the pioneering role of the Kingdom in adopting water issues globally, as the Kingdom is keen by hosting the forum to enhance international cooperation, find innovative solutions to financing, and enhance the world’s ability to respond to water -related challenges.
Saudi Arabia tops the global water scene in various fields, including its largest water desalination capacity, the least energy consumption of water desalination, and plays a major role in financing water resource development projects worldwide.

It is noteworthy that the World Water Forum, organized by the World Water Council in partnership with the host countries, is considered the largest and most important event in the field of water management globally, and provides a platform for exchanging ideas, knowledge and cooperation between the parties concerned around the world, and provides opportunities to offer international best practices, and find ways of cooperation to ensure sustainable water resources worldwide.
