The Asian Karate Federation confirms its support for China’s hosting of continental championships
Beijing, April 10 / WAM / Major General “M” Nasser Abdel -Razzaq Al -Razouki, President of the UAE and Asian Federations and Vice President of the International Karate Federation, stressed the importance of continuous work of the continental federation to strengthen its relations with its partners in Asia, noting that cooperation with the Chinese Karate Federation is an essential pillar in the development of this sport.
This came on the sidelines of the official meeting held by Al -Razouki with Song Luzing, head of the Sports Committee of the Asian Olympic Council, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Sports in the Chinese capital, Beijing.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed aspects of joint cooperation, as the durability of the relations between the Asian Karate Union and its Chinese counterpart was emphasized, as well as reviewing future plans to organize major tournaments in karate at the Asian and international levels in the People’s Republic of China.
The meeting discussed ways to develop karate on the Asian continent by expanding the prospects for cooperation between national federations and supporting China’s hosting of a number of important sporting events during the coming period.
