"Pasture" It strengthens economic relations between the UAE and Britain

London, April 11/ WAM/ The Ras Al Khaimah Economic Regions Authority “Rakz” topped the scene of strengthening economic relations between the UAE and the United Kingdom, through its main sponsorship of the reception organized by the British Chamber of Commerce in Dubai, in the British capital, London, as part of its ongoing efforts to support trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.
The event attracted a group of senior executives and business leaders from various sectors in the United Kingdom, as part of a series of activities organized by the Chamber to enhance the presence of British companies in the UAE and the Middle East region.

The organization of this meeting comes at a time when the region is witnessing an increasing interest from the British business community, where British citizens constitute more than 30% of the new members in the British Chamber of Commerce in Dubai during the past year, after their move to the UAE with the aim of expanding their business.
Rakz’s sponsorship of this event reflects its continuous commitment to international expansion, especially in the British market and highlighting the promising capabilities provided by the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah to British companies. The event also strengthens the strategic partnership signed between Rakz and the British Chamber of Commerce in Dubai last year, which aims to support the entry of British companies to the Ras Al Khaimah market and provide facilities necessary for the growth of their business.
Katty Holmes, CEO of the British Chamber of Commerce in Dubai, said that “Raks” is an active partner of the room since 2016, and with the increasing interest of the Chamber’s members of Ras Al Khaimah’s capabilities, a memorandum of understanding was signed to enhance the support directed to British companies that are expanding in the emirate, noting in partnership with “Rakz”, which plays a pivotal role in promoting trade between the United Kingdom and the UAE.
For his part, Rami Glad, CEO of the Rakz Group, stressed the importance of the growing relationship between the two countries, noting that relations with the United Kingdom are continuous growth in various fields, from trade and innovation to sustainability in light of that Ras Al Khaimah is today an attractive destination for British companies thanks to its strategic location and its supportive investment environment, and advanced infrastructure

He said that “Rakz” supports more than 2,200 British companies, from startups to international institutions, pointing out that such activities represent an ideal platform for enhancing dialogue and building fruitful relationships that open new horizons for joint growth.
And “Rakz” continues through its active participation in such international events organized by the British Chamber of Commerce in the United Kingdom, to establish its position as a strategic partner in the process of expanding international business and enhancing economic cooperation across borders.
The Economic Zone in “Rakz” includes a group of prominent British companies from various sectors such as Ahmed tea that specializes in tea production, and the leading A2 CC in the re -manufacturing of portable computer, and Spichel Combostite specialized in the manufacture of aviation training equipment, along with other industrial companies such as Manchester Biber Bagz, Wajih RL manufacturing.
By building effective links and highlighting the competitive advantages of business practice in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah through these international platforms, “Raks” continues to attract more British companies, threatening the way for more opportunities for economic cooperation and achieving joint success.
