المملكة: The aviation system is ready for the departure of the guests of God after performing the Hajj rituals

Declared General Authority of Civil Aviation Completion of the sector’s preparations at various airports in the Kingdom for the departure of Guests of God Hajj rituals.
The Authority confirmed the completion of receiving more than 9,520,836 passengers, including 1,485,729 male and female pilgrims, through air ports, through 60,625 flights, and with the participation of 86 air carriers during the pilgrims’ arrival phase, during the period from 01 Dhul-Qi’dah to 08 Dhul-Hijjah, within an operational system. An integrated plan was implemented across 6 international airports designated to serve pilgrims.
Integrated Operational Plan
The departure phase begins on the 13th of Dhul-Hijjah, and continues until the next 15th of Muharram, through an integrated operational plan implemented by Airports Holding in cooperation with the relevant governmental and operational agencies, with the aim of facilitating the return journey and ensuring the smooth flow of procedures at the various airports designated to serve the pilgrims. The operational plan includes King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Medina, Prince Abdul Mohsen bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Yanbu, Taif International Airport, King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam.
In addition to 13 travel lounges designated to serve pilgrims, with the participation of more than 22 thousand male and female employees working around the clock, to ensure the efficiency of operational operations and the speed of completing procedures.
Service "A traveler without a bag"
The Kingdom’s airports also continue to provide a number of qualitative services designated for the guests of God, the most prominent of which is the service "A traveler without a bag"which allows completing travel procedures and shipping luggage directly from the pilgrim’s residence to his final destination.
In addition to the pre-shipping service for Zamzam water bottles, which enhances the comfort of pilgrims and improves their experience until the moment they leave the Kingdom.
The Authority confirmed that it has harnessed all its human and technical capabilities, and activated the joint operations rooms in cooperation with various government and service sectors operating in the Kingdom.
