UAE sends urgent humanitarian aid to Myanmar

Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, the UAE sent urgent humanitarian aid to the Republic of Myanmar, as part of its quick response to the repercussions of the earthquake that struck the country recently.
The initiative was implemented by the Joint Operations Command in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority, the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, the National Guard Command and the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police, through the conduct of several flights, in confirmation of the UAE’s constant commitment to humanitarian work, and its effective response to international humanitarian crises.
The aid shipment includes more than 200 tons of food, shelter supplies, and medical aid, which aims to alleviate the suffering of the affected and support recovery efforts.
This aid comes after the Emirati rescue teams ended their humanitarian duties in affected areas, to complete the efforts made by the state in supporting the affected societies around the world.
Yooo Thin, Prime Minister of the Yangon Region, appreciated the humanitarian efforts provided by the UAE to the Republic of Myanmar, expressing his great thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, for this generous support and stand by the people of Myanmar in these difficult circumstances, stressing that this initiative reflects the depth of human relations and the spirit of solidarity that distinguishes the UAE in dealing with crises World.
These efforts embody the established human values of the UAE, their constant eagerness to stand by the affected peoples, and provide the necessary support to alleviate their suffering, which enhances their position as a symbol of giving and human solidarity at the international level.
