المملكة: Tomorrow .. “Enforcement” tests the capabilities of 1.15 million students in the Kingdom’s schools

The Ministry of Education affirmed all primary and middle schools for boys and girls in various regions and governorates of the Kingdom, the need to prepare for the conduct of national tests.
It is expected that approximately one million and fifty thousand students will participate in these tests, distributed about twenty thousand and nine hundred schools.

Skill and cognitive tests

The tests aim to measure the basic skills and knowledge of students in specific materials, where third -grade primary students will undergo reading and mathematics tests, while the test includes sixth grade students and the third intermediate grade in reading, mathematics and science materials.
The Education Department indicated that the results of these tests will not have any impact on the student’s transfer to the next classroom at the end of the current academic year, stressing its evaluation and development nature.
The Education and Training Evaluation Authority stated that the implementation of the “Enforcement” tests comes as part of its efforts to evaluate the level of educational achievement for school students periodically and systematically.
The authority pointed out that one of the most prominent goals of these tests is to stimulate positive competition and excellence between schools, as well as between various education offices and departments.

Educational performance development

It also aims to provide detailed and accurate data and reports on the levels of educational attainment for students and the various factors that may affect it, which allows to conduct in -depth scientific analyzes to perform the educational system as a whole.
The authority added that these analyzes will contribute to determining the strengths and areas of improvement, thus supporting the decision -making process and developing appropriate solutions to develop educational performance.
These tests are also directly related to the Human Capacity Development Program, one of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 programs, as it works to measure national performance indicators related to education and support the achievement of the ambitious program targets.
It is noteworthy that the selection of the third grades, the sixth primary and the third average of these tests is due to the fact that they represent articulated points and ends of basic educational stages; The third grade of primary school represents the end of the early primary stage, the sixth primary at the end of the primary stage, and the third average end of the elementary and medium stages.
