Brigadier Haret Mohammed Saeed Al Shamsi, Director of the General Administration of Investigations and Criminal Investigation at Dubai Police, said in a statement to the Emirates News Agency “WAM” that the Tourist Security Patrols Department, affiliated with the Tourism Police Department, which was established in 2014, is one of the most prominent interfaces of the Dubai Civilization Police in the eyes of tourists and residents, indicating that the department has luxury patrols that represent unique international models that reflect the leadership of the emirate in integrating security with technology And innovation.
He added that the department was established with the aim of strengthening the police presence in the tourist areas and places of major gatherings, and contributing to the consolidation of the image of the Dubai Police as a modern security institution, through advanced work mechanisms and high -end methods that depend on good reception, and mutual respect with all nationalities and cultures.
He explained that Dubai Police, through its strategic partnership with international car companies agents in the emirate, worked to develop an integrated fleet of luxury vehicles, which includes rare and distinctive models, including Lamborghini Uros, Bervorte, Audi R8, Talla Cyber Track, Alva Romeo, Mansouri Mercedes G63, Lots Ultra R, Bentley Continental GT, Boujati Veron, Aston Martin Vintage, along with other models, keeps pace with the latest sports and luxury auto industry.
He pointed out that the leagues tasks are not limited to field presence in vital areas, but also include participation in national and official events and events, the representation of Dubai Police in local and international security exhibitions and forums, and the presence in major sporting events, land and beach activities, in addition to supporting government and tourism initiatives by enhancing tourism security. He revealed that the tourism security patrols represented the UAE in many foreign forums, the most prominent of which was its participation in the thousand miles for classic cars in Italy in 2021, which later qualified it to win the “Emirates Ideas” award within the category of “state representation abroad”, which is organized by the Dubai Quality Group.
