The Minister of Economy calls for the development of human capabilities in the forefront of priorities
He pointed out that it is the main driver of wealth, which contributes to its development and sustainability, pointing out that the Kingdom’s 2030 vision represents a model for the bold leadership that has developed fundamental plans carried out with optimism, and was wisely managed.
Human Capacity Initiative Conference
This came during the speech of His Excellency within the work of the Human Capacity Initiative conference, which is held in Riyadh for two days, with the participation of a group of leaders, decision makers and experts from different countries of the world.
His Excellency explained that the challenges associated with development are no longer a secondary issue and were seen in the past, but rather are at the heart of economic transformations, stressing the importance of going towards retaliation, and providing individuals with new skills, as basic elements to achieve growth in the next stage.
Human capital development
He pointed out that building the capabilities of institutions in the right way, in addition to investing in developing human capital represent two major factors to achieve sustainable success in the long run, which should be focused on within national and international efforts.
At the end of his speech, His Excellency indicated that the educational system in the Kingdom is witnessing a continuous improvement in light of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision, with a significant increase in women’s participation, stressing the importance of enhancing the skills of critical thinking, and that the challenges facing countries will require different solutions.
He called for the development of human capabilities development at the forefront of priorities, as the desired returns from investing in infrastructure or technical cannot be achieved without the existence of qualified competencies to lead them.
