An Israeli attack takes out the last worker hospital in Gaza City from service

In an interview with United Nations news, the organization spokeswoman, Dr. Margaret Harris, confirmed that the hospital had been discharged after an air strike on Sunday morning, where “The pharmacy, many different buildings and services were destroyed.”

Harris added that about 40 patients are very critical, so that they cannot be transferred from the health facility still receiving care, while the remaining fifty patients – including the child who died – were evacuated to other medical centers shortly before the attack began.

The supplies are in critical condition

She added that the situation is embarrassed, and that medical supplies of all kinds now “Very low”, She expressed deep concern about the safety of health cadres in the affected hospital.

According to the World Health Organization, only 21 out of 36 hospitals remained in Gaza, almost all of them were damaged during the war.

The Director General of the Organization, Dr. Tidros Adhanum Guerbrisus, confirmed in a publication on the X platform that hospitals have special protection under international humanitarian law. He repeated his call for a ceasefire, and said: “The attacks on health care should stop. We repeat again: patients, health workers and hospitals must be protected. The closure should be lifted.”

The relief teams on the ground highlighted “Huge additional pressure” What was already placed by the bombing of Al -Ahly Baptist Hospital on the remaining hospitals that work partially in the sector.

“Collective injuries have become the base”

The spokesperson for the Humanitarian Coordination Office, Olga Chervco, told United Nations “Collective injuries are now the base, and that hospitals that treat trauma (shocks) do so amid a sharp deficiency in vital supplies, including the necessary drugs.”

Seven weeks have now passed since the crossings were closed to all relief supplies allocated to the Gaza population. According to the Humanitarian Coordination Office, more than 390,000 people have been displaced since the resumption of Israeli bombing on March 18.

In recent days, senior United Nations officials rejected the statements claiming enough food to feed all Palestinians in Gaza, stressing that they are “Far from reality on Earth.”

In this context, Ms. Cheyvco confirmed that supplies are rapidly raising. She said: “We honor the depletion of food, medicine, shelter, and all that is necessary for life if the situation does not change immediately. The disaster in Gaza will get worse, and people’s needs will increase. This cannot continue. Civilians must be protected and the crossings must be protected immediately.”
