المملكة: “Bridges” .. a Saudi exhibition in Jakarta highlights the care of the Qur’an and spreading moderation
This step comes within the framework of extensive preparations for the launch of the “Bridges” exhibition, organized by the Ministry represented by the General Secretariat for Exhibitions and Conferences.
The exhibition, which lasts for two weeks, is scheduled to be opened at the Istiklal Mosque in the capital, Jakarta, which is the largest mosque in East Asia.
An important cultural event
This important cultural event is organized in coordination between the Ministry and the embassy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Jakarta and the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs, and it is enjoys direct support and follow -up from His Excellency the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Dr. Abdullatif Al Sheikh.
The ministry explained that the “bridges” exhibition aims mainly to shed light on a wide range of services it provides in the context of its comprehensive mission to serve Islam and Muslims, and to care for the Holy Book of God and serve the guests of the Most Merciful.

Service of the Noble Qur’an
The exhibition seeks to introduce visitors from various segments to the great attention attached to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, to humanitarian issues, and the generous care and great efforts made in serving the Holy Qur’an.
In addition, the exhibition seeks to clarify the message of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its established efforts in spreading the values of moderation, moderation and combating extremism in all its forms. “Bridges” also focuses on highlighting aspects of authentic Saudi identity and culture, by providing interactive activities and using modern technical means that allow visitors to take place in a rich and inspiring cultural experience, which reflects the technological and civilizational development experienced by the Kingdom in light of its ambitious vision 2030.
The exhibition will also review the remarkable development witnessed by the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Noble Qur’an, especially in diversifying its modern publications from the Qur’ans and translating the meanings of the Holy Quran into multiple international languages, in addition to presenting the most advanced technologies used in printing the Noble Qur’an. The exhibition activities will include interactive visual presentations aimed at highlighting the distinguished Saudi efforts in serving the Holy Quran and its sciences and spreading it among Muslims around the world.
The “bridges” exhibition is one of the prominent cultural events organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs in cooperation with its counterparts in the countries of the world, and reflects the Kingdom’s keenness to enhance the bridges of cultural and civilizational communication with Islamic peoples and others, with the aim of consolidating the sublime Islamic values, and highlighting the Kingdom’s leadership role in serving Islam and Muslims and spreading the principles of tolerance and peaceful coexistence between different cultures and peoples.
