17 countries participate in a festival "Sharjah Reading for the child"
Sharjah, April 15/ WAM/ The Sharjah Reading Festival of Children will host in its 16th session, which will be held from April 23 to May 4, a group of stars of the world of children’s literature and adolescents.
The event – which takes place in the “Expo Sharjah Center” under the slogan “To overwhelm books” 43 personalities from 17 Arab countries that include a group of academics, writers, Gulf and Arab painters who strengthened the Arab Child Library with high -quality publications in several areas.
The festival provides visitors with the opportunity to meet Arab guests who hold local, regional and international awards, giving them an interactive cultural experience with distinction that elevates their educational and cultural experience and contributes to the consolidation of Sharjah’s capital of Arab culture.
Participating writers offer a series of dialogues and discussions that illuminate the issues of children’s literature and emerging and ways to overcome the challenges facing this important knowledge sector.
