Under the directives of the President of the State .. The Emirates and Chad signs the agreement to build Sheikha Hospital Fatima Bint Mubarak and a dialysis center in Angelina

Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and the follow -up of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State and Prime Minister and head of the Presidential Bureau, the Emirates Agency for International Aid and the government of the Republic of Chad signed the agreement to build the Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Hospital and the dialysis center in Angina, the capital of the Republic of Chad.
The agreement was signed in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Dhiab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the Presidency for Development Affairs and Families of Martyrs and Chairman of the International Humanitarian Affairs Council and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Humanitarian Foundation, on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi International Health Week and the presence of Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State and Chairman of the Health Consulting Committee for International Development, and Mansour Ibrahim Al Mansouri, President of the Health Department – Abu Dhabi and Taher Hamed I transfer, Minister of Finance, Budget, Economy, Planning and International Cooperation in Chad.
The agreement was signed by the Emirati side, Dr. Tariq Ahmed Al -Amri, President of the Emirates Agency for International Aid, and from the Chadian side Taher Hamed Ansulin, Minister of Finance, Budget, Economy, Planning and International Cooperation.
The agreement stipulated the construction and operation of the “Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak” hospital in the Chadian capital “Angina”, on a dedicated land from the Chad government with a total area (11,300 square meters), of which 9500 square meters are as an area for building the hospital, and an area of 1800 square meters for the building of the medical staff, in addition to allocating an area (4,200 square meters) to build and operate a specialized center for washing kidneys “equipped with the latest technologies Medical, provides the latest health services to provide the necessary therapeutic care for dialysis patients.
In this regard, Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, stressed that the establishment of Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Hospital and a specialized center for dialysis in “Angelina”, the capital of Chad, is an embodiment of the immortal human heritage of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (may God rest his soul) to serve all humanity and continuing for the leading Emirati global role in developing the needy societies, and meeting the aspirations of peoples in obtaining services Health care necessary for various groups and segments of men, women and children.
Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan pointed out that the signing of the agreement between the Emirati and Chadian sides is a translation of the inspiring vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, to enhance the health care sector in various parts of the world, especially in countries and societies most in the continent of Africa, based on the civilizational and humanitarian message to the UAE towards providing support and assistance to build capabilities in a sustainable manner on the one hand It is in line with sustainable development goals with a focus on good health and well -being as a basic goal on the other hand.
On this agreement, Dr. Tariq Ahmed Al -Amri, President of the Emirates Agency for International Aid, stressed that such agreements are an affirmation of the UAE’s commitment to addressing humanitarian challenges and promoting sustainable development around the world, as the Emirates Agency for International Aid will continue its pivotal role in providing vital assistance to support societies and peoples in all countries and regions in need to improve the living reality, and implement external aid programs in the light of the general policy of foreign aid.
He explained that Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Hospital in Angelina will include 11 specialized clinics that include (children, gynecology, teeth, bones, urinary tract, eyes, nose, ear and throat, skin, internal medicine, heart disease, general medicine), and contains 100 beds, 3 operating rooms and 3 birth rooms, pointing out that the number of beneficiaries of health services provided by the hospital reaches more than 1.7 million people, while the specialized center serves the center To wash kidneys more than 9% of the population of the Chadian capital, “Angelina”, and includes 80 beds to treat kidney patients.
In turn, Taher Hamed Ankalin, Minister of Finance, Budget, Economy, Planning and International Cooperation, expressed the thanks of the government of the Republic of Chad, the United Arab Emirates represented by the Emirates Agency for International Aid that will supervise the construction and employment of Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak and the Center for the Diause in Angelina, which will work significantly to enhance the provided medical services and improve the quality of treatment for various segments of men, women and children. Health in the areas of development in general in our country, and will provide many job opportunities for the local population, as well as creating economic opportunities in the field of providing services such as providing transportation, food, gifts and other supplies.
