The President of the State receives the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq, who is visiting the country to participate in the World Government Summit

Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the brotherly Iraqi Kurdistan Region, who is on a working visit to the country during which he will participate in the World Government Summit held in Dubai.

During the meeting that took place at the Qasr Al Bahr Council in Abu Dhabi, His Highness discussed with Masrour Barzani various aspects of fraternal relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Iraq in general and the Kurdistan Region in particular and ways to develop cooperation for the benefit of the two brotherly peoples and contribute to achieving their aspirations for development and prosperity.

The meeting also touched on the importance of the topics on the agenda of the World Government Summit, which is a global platform for dialogue and sharing visions and ideas to develop government work and deal with the major challenges facing the world.

The two sides also exchanged views on a number of issues and topics of common interest.
