“How to build your home” is an initiative to enable citizens to build marital homes

The Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Foundation, in cooperation with the new Academy of Economics, launched the “How to build your home?” It is an integrated training program that aims to enable Emirati citizens from the youth category coming to marry the planning and building their homes efficiently and sustaining with a focus on budget management and employing financial resources in an optimal way and avoiding common challenges in various stages of construction.

This program comes in line with the initiatives of “The Year of Society” and within the “Sheikha Hind Bint Maktoum Program for the Family”, which was launched by the campus of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God bless him, Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum with the aim of establishing authentic Emirati values ​​and promoting family stability as one of the basic pillars of society’s cohesion and growth.

300 citizens from those who are coming to build their homes will participate in the program and are presented by a group of experts from several governmental and private bodies, including the Community Development Authority, the Dubai Municipality, the Federal Tax Authority and the “End of the Emirates”.

Participants in the program review a comprehensive guide for housing services, guidelines, and smart electronic systems related to construction, financing and sustainable management of the housing.

Hessa Bint Issa Bouhamid, Director General of the Community Development Authority in Dubai, stressed that the sustainable advancement of the quality of the life of community members in various aspects is a pivotal priority in the UAE, noting that His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him 2025, “The Year of Society” embodies this national trend and reflects the rational leadership’s keenness to enhance and consolidate societal stability.

For his part, Khaled Al -Bustani, Director General of the Federal Tax Authority, explained that the program provides the participants with practical instructions on how to recover value -added tax on building new housing, as citizens are available to recover the paid tax on the materials and services related to construction in accordance with the tax systems and the procedures approved in the country, which contributes to reducing the financial costs of the project, stressing that the authority will continue to provide support and awareness to the community through workshops and programs Various educational to ensure the promotion of tax compliance and the maximum benefit from the approved tax legislation.

Engineer Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Acting Director General of Dubai Municipality, confirmed that the participation of the Dubai Municipality in the “How to build your home?” Its commitment to enhancing sustainability in the residential sector and enabling individuals reflects the informed financial, construction and engineering decisions when building their homes in order to facilitate their journey in establishing their homes and ensuring the achievement of the highest quality and sustainability standards.
