“Radio and Television” cooperates with the Film Authority in highlighting the cultural identity

The Radio and Television Authority, represented by the CEO of the Authority, Muhammad bin Fahd Al -Harthy, signed a joint cooperation agreement with the Film Authority represented by its President Abdullah bin Nasser Al -Qahtani, during the work of the inauguration of the “Cinematic” initiative, one of the National Film Archives initiatives of the Film Authority.
The agreement comes with the aim of integrating efforts in the field of Saudi cinematic industry, and within the framework of the authority’s efforts to extend bridges of cooperation with active national bodies that contribute to strengthening the national image through media and cinema alike and highlighting the features of the Saudi cultural identity.

The memo included several items to cooperate with the digital archive center in the Radio and Television Authority, which indicates the interest of the two parties in achieving a positive and sustainable impact, by limiting and documenting the Saudi cinematic heritage and conducting research and analytical studies for film materials and content, along with the restoration of rare cinematic film materials and their number with high -quality techniques and accuracy and enhancing cooperation in the field of artistic exhibitions and joint events, And focus on the aspect of investing in human capabilities through development, training and exchange of knowledge in the field of archiving.
