Opening the door for requests to review the second semester degrees until Sunday

The Ministry of Education has announced the opening of receiving requests to review the grades of the second semester, to enhance transparency and ensure the achievement of justice in the evaluation of students, after the completion of the announcement of the results of the second semester of students in all education sessions.

Receiving applications
She explained that the period of receiving applications starts from Friday and continues until next Sunday evening, stressing the need to adhere to the specified time frame for submitting applications.

A comprehensive framework
At a time when the ministry adopted a comprehensive framework and a unified mechanism to review the grades of the twelfth grade students in the end of the semester tests, with the aim of consolidating the principles of integrity and transparency, and ensuring the credibility of school evaluation,

Procedural
The Ministry confirmed in a procedural guide issued in this regard that review requests include only the paper part of the tests in Arabic language subjects, English, mathematics, physics, and science, and they are available through the “IDH” electronic platform within a specific period of time that does not exceed three working days from the issuance of results, provided that the requests are answered within five working days as a maximum.

Integrated criteria
The Ministry clarified that submitting applications is limited to the twelfth grade students only through the platform, while students of the first to the eleventh can apply through the school directly, taking into account specific conditions that include that the application is related to estimating the degree of examination of the end of the semester only, and that the number of subjects does not exceed three.

Special categories
The ministry gave way to special categories to submit applications, such as the owners of determination, sick students, accompanying treatment, and medical excuses, or who were exposed to the death of a first -class relative.

Additional opportunities
On the other hand, the ministry stressed that the review does not include electronic tests, formative evaluation in more than one article, and requests for changing the result of the failure are not accepted, or requests for giving additional opportunities, or amending the percentage for university admission purposes.

Digital path
The course of the degree review begins by submitting the student or the guardian to request electronically via the “IDH” platform, and then it is referred to the specialized school branch, which is submitted to the testing and evaluation management of public education, to study it and take the appropriate decision, before notifying the applicant for the result.

Efficiency indicators
The Ministry has allocated a number of direct communication channels with school departments in various regions, and also put indicators to measure the quality and efficiency of response to requests, including the number of requests received, closed and stuck at the level of schools and sectors.
