Dubai Police is looking into protecting individuals under artificial intelligence

The Dubai Police General Command, represented by the General Department of Security of Bodies, Facilities and Emergency, discussed ways to develop the personal protection system in light of the rapid developments in artificial intelligence technologies, during a dialogue session organized by the Personal Security and Protection Department, with the participation of a number of government and private partner agencies.

The session, which was held in the presence of the Deputy Director of the General Department of Bodies, Facilities and Emergency Security for Bodies Security Affairs, Brigadier General Obaid bin Yaroof Al Ketbi, and the Director of the Personal Security and Protection Department, Colonel Ahmed Salem Al Mansouri, discussed mechanisms for employing smart solutions and advanced systems to enhance security readiness, raise performance efficiency, and support the preventive security system in the field of personal protection.

Participants stressed the importance of keeping pace with global changes in this field, especially in light of the increasing reliance on artificial intelligence technologies and their role in analyzing data, securing information, and enhancing site protection, which contributes to supporting decision-making and raising safety levels.

The session addressed topics related to maintaining data and information security, developing operational procedures using smart systems, in addition to discussing ways to reduce bureaucratic procedures and simplify operations in a way that saves time and effort and increases the efficiency of field work.
