Add a front panel for motorcycles and electric bikes

The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai announced the approval of issuing an additional front plate for motorcycles and electric bikes for the activity of delivering orders to companies, after it was limited to a rear plate only, as of the end of this month of December, which will be added gradually upon renewal of the license, within the regulatory framework, which the authority has adopted to govern this vital and important sector, to keep pace with international best practices and the approved road map, which regulates all areas of security and safety in delivery operations.

The procedure for issuing additional front plates for delivery bikes comes as part of a package of joint solutions and initiatives between the Authority and the Dubai Police General Command, and after holding a series of meetings with partners from government and private agencies and consulting companies, to discuss and review procedures to develop the organization of this sector and set requirements that guarantee the safety of drivers and the safety of road users in a way that enhances safety on the emirate’s roads.
