Saqr Ghobash meets president "The Great Turkish National Assembly "
Istanbul, April 18/ WAM/ His Excellency Saqr Ghobash, President of the Federal National Council, met His Excellency Professor Dr. Noman Courtymush, Speaker of the Great Turkish National Assembly in the Turkish Republic, on the sidelines of participation in the first meeting of the parliaments group supporting Palestine, which is hosted by Istanbul today, organized by the Great National Assembly.
His Excellency Saqr Ghobash extended at the beginning of the meeting, thanks Professor Dr. Noman Kortelmosh, for the organization of the first meeting of the parliaments supporting Palestine, and the invitation of the Federal National Council to participate in the meeting, stressing that the Palestinian issue is a central issue in the foreign policy of the United Arab Emirates, pointing to the state’s stances in supporting the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, and strengthening regional and international efforts aimed at achieving security, peace and stability in The area.
For his part, His Excellency Professor Dr. Noman Kortelmush, Speaker of the Turkish National Assembly, welcomed His Excellency Saqr Ghobash and the delegation of the Federal National Council accompanying, noting that the first meeting in which 12 parliaments participate, is the nucleus of other continuous meetings and will include more countries in the upcoming sessions, hoping that the meeting will come out with a joint declaration that contributes to forming political weight that supports Palestine in various parliamentary and international forums, and preserves the right The Palestinian people, stability and world peace.
During the meeting, ways of enhancing the existing friendship and parliamentary cooperation between the two councils, coordination and consultation regarding various issues of common concern, expressed their aspiration to achieve active participation in parliamentary meetings, and reaching results that contribute positively to addressing the various challenges facing international peace and security.
They also stressed the importance of strengthening parliamentary relations, with the aim of strengthening the bonds of friendship and distinguished and joint cooperation that link the two countries in various fields, in a way that contributes to raising them into wider horizons and achieving the aspirations of the two friendly peoples.
The meeting was attended by the delegation of the Emirati Parliamentary Division, happiness: Dr. Adnan Hamad Al -Hammadi, Hamid Ahmed Al -Tayer, and Dr. Nidal Muhammad Al -Tunaiji, Fatima Ali Al -Muhairi, members of the Council, and Dr. Omar Abdul Rahman Al -Nuaimi, Secretary -General of the Council, Afra Rashid Al -Basti, Assistant Secretary -General for Parliamentary Communication, and Tariq Ahmed Al Marzouqi, Assistant Secretary -General for the Presidency of the Council, in the presence of His Excellency Saeed Thani Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to the Turkish Republic.
