The land, sea, and air customs outlets recorded 1332 cases of control of contraband, within the framework of the ongoing efforts made by the “Zakat, Tax and Customs” Authority to enhance the security aspect and protect society from prohibitions of all kinds and forms.
The seized varieties included 106 varieties of narcotic substances, such as hashish, cocaine, heroin, youth, Captagon pills, etc., in addition to 706 prohibited materials.

Tight control

The customs outlets also witnessed the frustration of 2261 tobacco and its derivatives, along with 26 items for sums of money, and 10 varieties of weapons and their supplies.

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority emphasized that it is continuing to tighten customs control over the Kingdom’s imports and exports, in order to achieve the security and protection of society, in cooperation and continuous coordination with all its relevant partners.
At the same time, the authority called on everyone to contribute to combating smuggling to protect society and the national economy, by communicating with it on the number designated for security communications (1910) or via e -mail ([email protected](Or international number (009661910).
Through these channels, the authority receives the reports related to smuggling crimes and violations of the provisions of the unified customs system, with a complete confidentiality, while granting a financial reward to the reporter in the event of the validity of the communication information.
