The Scientific Council of Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities discusses future plans

Abu Dhabi, April 20 / WAM / The Supreme Scientific Council of the Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities, headed by His Excellency the scholar Sheikh Abdullah bin Baih, President of the Supreme Scientific Council of the University and Chairman of the Emirates Sharia Fatwa Council, discussed the promotion of the future university march and its scientific programs in the field of humanitarian and social studies.

He also discussed strengthening the university’s vision and its future plans in order to achieve the utmost leadership and excellence in its academic courses, and the Council reviewed the academic foundation program for the university branch in the Al Dhafra region.

He listened to a presentation on the new projects of the university, and reviewed the academic programs and scientific conferences expected to be held until October 2025, and the practical council also reviewed a report submitted by His Excellency Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Al Dhaheri, Director of the University, ensuring the most important achievements achieved by the university during the last period.

The Council listened to a brief presentation on the new projects of the university in the field of publishing and scientific research, including the Encyclopedia of the History of Philosophy in Islam, the Book of Religions, and the Book of Intellectual Security, as well as the academic program for community service.

In his opening speech to the work of the Scientific Council, His Excellency the scholar Sheikh Abdullah bin Bey praised the various works and programs that the university is doing, and innovative initiatives.

He stressed the importance of quality care in all the programs and efforts made by the university, through the “criterion of excellence” that the council proposed before, and through feedback and continuous evaluation, so that these efforts are based on the university’s goals and achieved to see it.

He stressed that the student remains the axis of care and care, the highest purposes of university work, the director in which universities are measured, and the product on which institutions and employment are competing, and here the need lies in looking at looking and implementing thought in periodic review and continuous follow -up to measure the levels of our students and stand on them, and work to raise them and upgrade them knowledge Institutions that he joins after graduation.

He pointed out that artificial intelligence techniques impose a new reality that requires educational institutions to review the skills that should be established in academic programs, and abstract information is no longer sufficient in light of its provision through search engines and conversation programs backed by artificial intelligence, but it has also become necessary to train students in information verification skills, and distinguish between facts and false information, along with effective questions to ask questions.

His Excellency expressed his hope that the appreciated efforts made by the Council will contribute to achieving the university’s vision, and to play the role assigned to it, as the university’s expertise house, and a center for thinking and development in it.
