In interactive pillars .. The launch of the handicraft exhibition in Al -Ahsa
The third secondary industrial institute in Al -Ahsa launched today, Monday, the activities of the handicraft exhibition, which displays part of the national heritage through a group of traditional handicrafts in the governorate, on the occasion of the year of handicrafts 2025.
This came in the presence of the Director General of the General Administration of Technical and Vocational Training in the Eastern Region, Mashari Al -Qahtani, and the Director of the Institute. Khaled Al -Zafar.
The diversity of Saudi crafts
The exhibition, which lasts for two days, includes a number of interactive pillars that reflect the diversity of the Saudi letter, the skill and accuracy of young men and women in its revival, the most prominent of which is the letter of pottery, the carpet industry, the sculpture on the gypsum, the wicker industries, the carpentry, the inscriptions, the Arabic calligraphy, the bishot industry, the art of Antarsia, the three -dimensional wood arts (3D), the blacksmith, the rash Work with wool, and renewable arts using registers.

The Kingdom’s cultural identity
Al -Qahtani explained that the handicrafts are an integral part of the Kingdom’s cultural identity, and that enabling young people to revive and develop it is a national investment in their creative energies.
He pointed to the importance of linking traditional skills to modern technologies in a way that contributes to achieving the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.
The exhibition witnessed a wide presence of interested and visitors from different segments of society, and students and students of public education, in an experience that enrichs the interaction between education, art and heritage.
