Participating projects in “Artificial Intelligence Hackathon” provides solutions to strategic sectors

Dubai, April 25/ WAM/ The closing day of the Dubai AI Week witnesses the announcement of the winning ideas in the “Hackathon Dubai Week for AI”, whose activities were launched yesterday in “2071 region” in the Emirates towers, with the participation of an elite group of innovators who compete to develop independent artificial intelligence agents working without human intervention, with the aim of helping human beings in his daily life, and solving realistic challenges, And contribute to drawing the features of the future of artificial intelligence in Dubai.
Maryam Khalifa Al -Amiri, CEO of the Matars Group from the Sultanate of Oman, stressed that her participation in the Hakathon comes within its role as a sign of the participating teams, noting the importance of directing technical innovations towards solutions that serve man and cause social and economic impact within institutions and societies.
She said in a statement to the Emirates News Agency /WAM /that her role as a mentor focuses on ensuring that the proposed solutions are actually related to the human being, in terms of the benefit that it achieves and the extent of its positive or negative impact, because the essence of the real innovation starts from the human needs, noting that it is keen to raise basic questions on the difference, such as: Who is the beneficiary of the solution? What kind of effect does it make? Does it have a negative impact on other categories?, To ensure that projects are evaluated from two angles: the human impact and technical innovation.
Al -Amiri added that the projects proposed dealt with solutions to strategic sectors such as real estate investment, travel, and logistics, pointing out that the UAE is an incubator environment for these sectors, and the solutions that have been developed can contribute to reducing costs, improving the quality of services, and accelerating decision -making.
She emphasized that the Dubai AI Week is an ideal platform for collecting these ideas and turning them into applicable projects, through supporting government and private agencies, pointing out that a number of real estate companies present have already started communicating with the teams to discuss the possibility of adopting some proposed solutions.
She noted the excellence of the level of posts in the hallkon, which ranged from mature, implemented and promising projects that need guidance.
