المملكة: “Saud Medical” records an exceptional rescue story for a patient whose heart stopped 30 minutes

The medical team in King Saud Medical City- a member of the first Riyadh Health Assembly- succeeded in saving the lives of the patient of Sabaini, after his heart stopped for 30 minutes as a result of an acute chest.
The patient had arrived in the emergency department in a critical condition, without any indications of life, so that the medical team immediately started the cardiovascular resuscitation, and the use of electric shocks that reached 12 shocks, until the heart returned to the pulse amid super medical efforts, led by the alternate cardiologist Dr. Sultan Al -Maliki.

Successful surgery

After the stability of the case, the tests revealed severe blockages in the coronary arteries, which necessitated an emergency surgical intervention, and the patient had a successful open heart operation led by a consultant cardiac surgery, Dr. Nasser Al -Jarid, which included three connections to the coronary arteries.
The patient left the hospital in a good health condition, after he exceeded a complex health crisis, thanks to God and then with the efforts of the integrated medical team.
This achievement embodies the efficiency of health cadres in King Saud Medical City, and its ability to deal with the most accurate emergency cases, in confirmation of its leadership in providing advanced heart care, within the targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision in promoting the quality of life.
