A statement from “EgyptAir” after an accident on the Cairo Airport landfill

“EgyptAir” announced today, Saturday, the collision of a bus carrying passengers to a flight from Cairo to Erbil, in one of the lighting poles on the airport landing square.

The accident resulted in the driver and some passengers with slight injuries. The company said in a statement: “Immediately, the injured were transferred to EgyptAir Hospital to check on them, do first aid to them and follow their health condition“.

The EgyptAir flight heading from Cairo to Erbil with the rest of the passengers on board took off, while the rest of the injured passengers have confirmed that “EgyptAir” confirmed that they will be included in other flights after checking on their condition.

The statement indicated that the concerned authorities in “EgyptAir” and Cairo International Airport continued to follow up on the developments of the situation to determine the causes of the accident.
