"Learn" The horizons of creativity and knowledge open to children and young people"Abu Dhabi Book"

Abu Dhabi, April 27 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair organizes in its thirty -fourth session a qualitative educational programs targeting children and young people through the “Learning” platform, providing a series of activities and events aimed at investing their energies, developing their talents, consolidating the love of reading and writing for them, and involving them in the spaces of culture, knowledge and creativity in innovative and attractive methods.

The exhibition, organized by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center under the slogan “Knowledge Society … Knowledge of Society”, hosts a group of academics, educators and writers specialized in childhood literature from around the world, to present various sessions and workshops covering multiple fields such as reading, drawing, music, cognitive and recreational competitions.

And based on the keenness of the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center to enhance the presence of the Arabic language and its consolidation of the emerging generations, the program presents a session entitled “Arabic .. a sweet story” run by Dr. Sarah Daher, head of the Arabic Language Academy in Lebanon, in an interesting educational manner, focusing on simplifying the grammar of the Arabic language and making it easier and capable of learning, in addition to establishing the importance of the Arabic language in preserving cultural identity, and employing educational methods Modern is compatible with the requirements of the digital age.

The exhibition is organized by interactive sessions, most notably the session “Fantasy Challenge: Who tells the story better?”, Presented by Dr. Reem Saleh Al -Qarq, the academic researcher specializing in children’s literature, where the session encourages the participants to read stories and redeem them, while giving them the opportunity to change events and create new ends, in a test of their imagination and expressive energy.

The session “Small Contents: from the idea to the pages”, which is presented by the translator and the children’s stories writer Rama Qanwati, is in front of children to learn the foundations for writing stories, by mixing the theoretical and applied side, and enabling them to develop writing skills and converting ideas into integrated stories, with a focus on building characters and plot step by step.

Music is progressing as a global language to embrace Arabic in a session entitled “How does music tell a story?” It is presented by Dr. Amal Abboud, Academy and Children’s Stories Writer, where children start on a live listening journey in which words turn into melodies, and events into melodies, with a direct music presentation that puts participants in the heart of stories.

In the context of strengthening the national identity and association with heritage, the exhibition organizes a session “from our heritage that tells stories” at the management of Dr. Fatima Al Mazrouei, the writer to present stories inspired by the history and heritage of the UAE in a dramatic manner, where participants are available to interact with stories and win the opportunity to represent parts of them, in a way that reveals their creative skills and stimulates the spirit of positive competition for them.

The tutorial also offers sessions in English, which includes the “Magic box: Can you know the book?” The author and journalist Cathy Urban is presented in a stimulating style to launch children’s capabilities in a fun competitive atmosphere.

A session entitled “Beyond Words: How do you tell pictures?” It is presented by Dr. Christing Schults, the writer of children’s literature, with the participation of the artist and painter Helgah Lieberg, to explore the relationship between the image and the word, and how the image can convey multiple meanings and stories without the need for words, within an educational educational space.

As for the third session in the English language, it is titled “Who will solve the mystery?”, And it is presented by the writer Ibtisam Al -Bayti, where children turn into tales by identifying symbols and signs inspired by famous books and stories, with the opportunity to represent a theatrical scene adapted from those stories of the winners.

The tutorial also includes a wide range of sessions and workshops for children and young people, via the “Learning” platform, including: “Lost Words”, “We Live Together in Each Story”, “Words Opening the Bab of Imagination”, “Letters Speak and Voices Toy”, and “A Novel Story for Children”, in a comprehensive experience that celebrates creativity, and instills the love of culture and knowledge since childhood.
