Alaa Mubarak comments on Trump’s statements: “Latest the Bab al -Mandab”

Alaa, the son of the late Egyptian President, Mohamed Hosni Mubarak, commented on the statements of US President Donald Trump on the Suez Canal and the abolition of fees imposed on American ships, whether military or commercial.

Alaa said in a post on his page on the X (previously Twitter): “This is what you are, you are!

Trump’s statement, which sparked the controversy, came up with a post on his page on the “Truth Social” platform, in which he said: “The American, military and commercial ships should be allowed to pass free of charge through the Banama and Suez channels!

Trump’s comments come at a time when he continues to threaten the Panama channel, accusing it of imposing “exorbitant fees” on the United States to use it.

Panama, which was built by the United States, was opened in 1914, and remained under the control of the United States until the 1977 agreement, which was ultimately delivered to Panama. The channel remained jointly occupied by the two countries until the Panamanian government regained full control over it after 1999.
