Procedure in 10 regions … developments in power outages in Spain

“Red Electric” announced the progress of working to restore electricity to about 10 regions in Spain significantly, after it was interrupted on the Iberian Peninsula on Monday.
She stated that work is underway to restore electricity in the areas of Catalonia, Arajon, the Basque region, Gallisia, Astorias, Navarra, Kashtala, Lyon, Extremadora and Andalusia.

European Council President Antonio Costa told X earlier that there is currently no evidence that power outages are widely in Spain and Portugal caused by an electronic attack.

Costa, the Portuguese national, added that the electricity distribution companies in the two countries are working to know the reason and restore electricity supplies.

She drew attention to the restoration of the electrical current in many regions in the north, south and western Spain.

The massive power outage struck the Iberian Peninsula on Monday afternoon, and large parts of Spain and Portugal were affected by this interruption.
