Editions and events "Trends" It attracts visitors to the Abu Dhabi Book Fair 2025

Abu Dhabi, April 29 / WAM / The Trends Center for Research and Consulting in its capacity as a platinum sponsor continues its distinguished activities within the thirty -fourth session of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2025.

The center’s pavilion – which reflects the depth of heritage and an ambitious future vision – attracted the exhibition visitors to see dozens of varied research publications that analyze the current issues and look forward to the future.

The Trends Pavilion witnessed the organization of a special workshop entitled “The General Community: Launching the Education, Training and Continuing Rehabilitation Initiative”, with a joint organization with the University of Abu Dhabi – College of Law, and the Emirates Association for Lawyers and Legal.

The workshop aims to spread the culture of continuous learning and self -development in Emirati society, in line with the vision of a rational leadership towards building an advanced knowledge society.

The center’s pavilion also attracted a group of officials, writers, researchers, media professionals and the audience of the exhibition looking for knowledge.

On the third day of the exhibition, the center organized a workshop entitled “Media in the face of extremism: a pivotal role and continuous challenges” moderated by the media expert Ghassan Ibrahim, the executive director and founder of the Center for the Arab World Network.

The workshop addressed the pivotal role that the media plays in shaping awareness and combating extremist ideologies, and pre -emptive media strategies in this context, in addition to the great challenges facing the media in its endeavor to confront extremism, including the spread of false news, the difficulty of reaching the targeted groups and the development of extremist organizations.

In the context of strengthening cooperation and strategic partnerships, “Trends” signed the memoranda of understanding and the first cooperation with the Arab Arab Network “Global Network”; For the purpose of cooperation in the research and consulting fields, strategic studies, and the second with the Supreme Committee for Humanitarian Brotherhood, to enhance cooperation in the areas of training and adopt initiatives that serve society and enhance the values ​​of human brotherhood, support the role of scientific research, and establish the values ​​of tolerance, coexistence, dialogue and understanding between cultures.

Within the framework of its activities in the exhibition, the Trends Center participated in a discussion episode entitled “A Refreshing Reading in the Future of the Global Economic System”, organized by the Bahr Culture Foundation.

The director of the episode, Dr. Mohamed Al -Ali, CEO of the Trends Center, reviewed the center’s vision about the foresight of the future of the global economy.

He stressed the great importance of this foresight in light of the great changes in the world, pointing to the challenges imposed by customs definitions, commercial wars, epidemics and sanctions on global interdependence, and the resulting intense economic competition.

The researcher, President Abdulaziz Al -Shehhi, Vice President of the Research Sector in “Trends”, presented his vision on the future of the global economy, focusing on the concept of globalization and the repercussions of customs taxes and its expectations on its impact on the global system.
