"Dubai Culture" Launching its activities to celebrate Eid Al-Adha


DUBAI, 21st May / WAM / Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, Dubai Culture, announced the launch of a comprehensive package of entertainment programs and cognitive experiences inspired by the authentic Emirati heritage to celebrate Eid Al Adha, in line with its responsibilities in supporting the “Eid in Dubai” campaign emanating from the “Walafah” season, which aims to strengthen family ties and revive the values of community solidarity.
The preparations witnessed the launch of the famous traditional song “Atuna Eidiya” by the artist Mohammed Al-Mazem in a new look on social media platforms in cooperation with the “Furjan Dubai” Foundation and produced by the “HBKA” group, where it was re-presented by a group of promising talents under the supervision of Ibrahim Al-Obaidli and director Abdul Rahman Al-Marisi with the aim of connecting new generations to the national identity.
The activities being held at Al Shindagha Museum during the period from May 28 to 31 include the “Eid Coffee” workshop and the interactive “Eidiya Path,” in addition to various artistic workshops such as knitting, designing traditional costumes, and performances by the popular “Ayyala” band, while the Union Museum will host family workshops and guided tours from May 27 to 29 that highlight the rich history of the Union and the process of founding the state, in addition to artistic performances hosted by the Hatta Heritage Village and the Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood.
For its part, Dubai Public Libraries has prepared a rich program for children and families that includes interactive workshops at Al Twar Library for designing Eid models and Eid boxes, while Hatta Public Library is witnessing activities dedicated to mothers and children making traditional sweets and incense burners, in addition to interactive reading activities and making handmade greeting cards and decorative models, hosted by Hor Al Anz, Umm Suqeim and Al Mankhool Public Libraries to spread an atmosphere of joy and joy in the souls of community members.
