Khalifa Empowerment Program organizes a forum "I value community" To enhance community leadership
Abu Dhabi, May 23 / WAM / The Khalifa Empowerment Program – Aqdar, organized the Aqdar Community Forum under the slogan “From Family Empowerment to Community Leadership”, with the aim of promoting the concepts of family empowerment and consolidating the role of the family in building a strong and sustainable society, in addition to supporting social responsibility and innovation in a way that contributes to achieving community leadership.
The forum comes within the framework of the program’s keenness to enhance the role of the family as the first nucleus in building a human being, and to shed light on the most important educational and social practices that contribute to empowering its members, which reflects positively on the cohesion and sustainability of society.
Colonel Dr. Muhammad Al Harmoudi, CEO of the Khalifa Empowerment Program – Aqdar, also confirmed that the forum is part of the program’s initiatives in the “Year of the Family,” emphasizing the pivotal position of the family as the basis for building the individual and creating generations capable of making a positive contribution to society. He explained that the family represents the first line of defense in consolidating national values and positive behaviors, and strengthening the concepts of responsibility and belonging in children from a young age.
He added that the Khalifa Empowerment Program – Aqdar is keen, through these initiatives, to empower the family with educational and social knowledge and skills, especially in light of the challenges associated with the digital space and social transformations, while emphasizing the importance of integration between the family and educational and community institutions, noting that such forums contribute to raising the level of family awareness, enhancing community cohesion, and building a more sustainable society, in line with the state’s directions and vision in the Year of the Family.
The forum witnessed a dialogue session moderated by Lieutenant Colonel Hassan Ali Al Badawi, Deputy Director of the Khalifa Empowerment Program – Aqdar, in the presence of Lieutenant Colonel Salem Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Director of the Khalifa Empowerment Program – Aqdar, and with the participation of Dr. Khalifa Al Mahrezi, Vice President of the Emirates Creativity Society. The session addressed a number of topics that included family empowerment and its role in building a strong and sustainable society, family empowerment tools and mechanisms to employ in enhancing community empowerment, in addition to the importance of enhancing social responsibility and innovation to achieve leadership. Community, which contributes to supporting sustainable development and consolidating the values of community cohesion and cooperation.
