A partnership between Dubai University and the Mohammed bin Rashid Foundation for Small and Medium Enterprises Development

Dubai April 30 / WAM / Dubai University announced a strategic partnership with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Foundation for Small and Medium Enterprises Development, affiliated with the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai, to support the third edition of the “Dubai University Entrepreneurship Competition 2025”, in a move that enhances the emirate’s commitment to supporting innovation and entrepreneurship, in line with the Dubai Economic Agency D33.

This partnership aims to enable the new generation of young Emirati entrepreneurs, by providing counseling, support and strategic guidance, in addition to providing business incubators for emerging projects.

The Dubai University of Entrepreneurship Competition is an annual platform that encourages students, graduates and researchers to transform their innovative ideas into applicable projects, which contribute to achieving national goals and sustainable development agenda.

His Excellency Dr. Issa Al -Bastaki, President of Dubai University, stressed that this partnership enhances the role of the competition in supporting economic diversity, and providing the participants with the tools necessary to turn their ideas into innovative solutions.

For his part, Ahmed Al -Rum Al -Muhairi, Acting CEO of the Foundation, said that this cooperation embodies the ambitious Dubai vision in building a global system of entrepreneurship, pointing to the importance of supporting emerging Emirati talents and enhancing Dubai’s position as a center for innovation.

Engineer Mohamed Abboud, Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Dubai University, pointed out that the partnership contributes to providing knowledge and networks that support project growth, stressing the commitment of the two parties to build a stimulating environment for innovation and entrepreneurship in the country.
