Director of the European Affairs Department attends the Netherlands Embassy on the National Day
Abu Dhabi, April 30 / WAM / Mr. Omar Rashid Al -Neyadi, Director of the European Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended the reception held by His Excellency Khairad Paul Marie Hubert Stephev, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the state on the occasion of his country’s national day.
The ceremony, which was held at the Retzkarton Hotel in Abu Dhabi, was also attended by a number of officials and members of the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps accredited to the state, and the people of the Dutch community residing in the country.
In a speech on this occasion, the Dutch ambassador praised the strong relations that link his country with the UAE, and the wise policy of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him.
He pointed out that the UAE is a major and important partner for the Netherlands in the region, and they have strong and firm relations in various fields, pointing to the interest and keenness of the leaderships of the two countries in recent years to strengthen bilateral relations in order to achieve the interests of the two friendly peoples.
