Ecuador President visits Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi on May 1 / WAM / His Excellency Daniel Nuboa, President of the Republic of Ecuador, visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, accompanied by His Excellency Gabriella Sumordeld, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Human Movement in the Republic of Ecuador, and the accompanying delegation.
His Excellency and the accompanying delegation started their tour at the mosque by visiting the shrine of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul”, recalling his legacy and wise approach, which contributed to promoting the culture of tolerance, coexistence and peace between the various peoples of the world.
His Excellency and the accompanying delegation toured them, accompanied by His Excellency Dr. Youssef Al -Obaidli, Director General of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center, in the mosque halls and external corridors, where they got to know the mosque mosque message calling for coexistence, tolerance and openness to the other, emanating from the exploits and values of the founding father, and the great role played by the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center in introducing the tolerant Islamic culture and enhancing civilized communication between different cultures and peoples around the world.
They were briefed on the history of the founding of the great edifice, the aesthetics of the mosque and the body of Islamic architecture, which clearly manifested in all its angles, and the unique holdings it contains, and the most wonderful thing that Islamic civilization has become throughout the ages, from the arts and engineering designs that met their different and diversity in the design of the mosque, to reflect the beauty of the harmony and harmony in one creative work.
His Excellency said, on the sidelines of the visit: “This wonderful mosque and the people who take care of and organize it, carry a clear message about unity, and a clear message of tolerance, it is a message that the whole world should adopt and seek to strengthen it, for peace, for unity, for tolerance, and for respect.”
