"Athar Plus" It showcases its role in accelerating social impact during the Abu Dhabi Entrepreneurship Festival

Abu Dhabi, April 21 / WAM / The “Athar Plus” initiative, affiliated with the Community Contributions Authority “Together”, reviewed its efforts in supporting and enabling projects with a social impact, during its participation in the Abu Dhabi Entrepreneurship Festival.

Taiba Al Qadi, community leader at Athar Plus, confirmed that the initiative aims to accelerate social impact in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi by highlighting individuals and institutions that provide innovative solutions that serve society, whether from public benefit institutions or social companies.

She explained that “Athar Plus” provides an integrated work environment that includes equipped office spaces, flexible work options, in addition to specialized programs to support entrepreneurs, such as acceleration and incubation programs, and the clinic program designated for non-profit institutions, which are implemented throughout the year according to courses that extend for several months, which contributes to developing projects and enhancing their sustainability.

She added that the initiative annually attracts an elite group of members within its various programs, where participants receive opportunities for guidance and direction, and access to service providers, in addition to benefiting from the expertise of resident entrepreneurs, and communication platforms that contribute to expanding the scope of their business.

She pointed to a number of inspiring models that Athar Plus embraces, including initiatives concerned with supporting people of determination, such as cooperation with the Emirates Autism Society to enable young people to acquire professional skills, in addition to innovative environmental projects that focus on recycling and reducing marine pollution, stressing that these initiatives embody the pivotal role of entrepreneurship in achieving a positive and sustainable impact on society.
