المملكة: Jeddah University achieves an economic return that exceeds 3 million riyals through the volunteer work platform

Jeddah University has announced an economic return of more than three million riyals through its active participation in the national platform of volunteerism, as part of its efforts to enhance the culture of volunteering and support the targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.

University achievements in the volunteer field

The announcement came during the work of the “Mubadron” forum, which was organized by the Volunteering and Social Responsibility Department at the university, where Dr. Areej Baeshen, the supervisor of the administration, reviewed the most prominent achievements of the university in the volunteer field, noting the implementation of more than 800 societal volunteer initiatives, with the participation of more than 14 thousand volunteers from the university students and employees.

Establishing the values ​​of social responsibility

Baeshen emphasized that these initiatives contributed to achieving a concrete societal impact, and economically reflected with returns exceeding 3 million riyals, stressing the university’s commitment to consolidate the values ​​of giving and social responsibility by providing an environment that stimulates institutional and organized volunteer work.

She also explained that the university is working to build strategic partnerships with various governmental and private sectors, in a way that contributes to expanding the scope of impact and enhancing national integration in implementing voluntary initiatives, in line with the targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision, which seeks to raise the number of volunteers to one million volunteers by the end of the contract.

These efforts are part of a series of development initiatives adopted by the university to empower young people, activate their role in sustainable development, and contribute to building an integrated vital society.
