Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority visits the Abu Dhabi Book Fair

Abu Dhabi on May 1 / WAM / His Excellency Faris Khalaf Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, the pavilion of the authority participating in the activities of the 34th session of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair.

His Excellency was accompanied by Dr. Sultan Al -Amimi, Acting Executive Director of the Poetry and Heritage Sector at the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, Ubaid Khalfan Al Mazrouei, Acting Executive Director of the Festivals and Events Sector in the Authority, Abdullah Butti Al Qubaisi, Acting Executive Director of Awareness and Heritage Knowledge Sector in the Authority, and Mohamed Juma Al Mansouri, Acting Executive Director of the Support Services Sector in the Authority.

His Excellency toured the authority’s pavilion, reviewed the progress of the work and learned about the nature of the authority’s participation within the activities of the exhibition, within the framework of achieving the objectives of the authority and highlighting its roles in documenting heritage practices and publishing studies and research related to literature and heritage, in line with the strategy of cultural heritage in Abu Dhabi, listening to His Excellency to a detailed explanation from Dr. Sultan Al -Amimi on the new publications of the authority presented by the pavilion in the areas of poetry, Heritage, literature, and studies.

His Excellency visited a number of wings participating in the exhibition, in the context of consolidating the presence of the authority and enhancing cooperation with the relevant authorities and institutions within the scope of its work.

His tour included the Trends Center for Research and Consulting, Archives and the National Library, the Ibn Sina platform “the central figure of the exhibition”, and the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center, Mohammed bin Zayed University of Humanities, United Arab Emirates University, and also attended an aspect of “Khrrav” activity that is held in the Poetry Nights Council in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority.
