The Arab Youth Center publishes a study on the role of the third sector in promoting sustainability

Dubai, May 1 / WAM / The Arab Youth Center, in cooperation with the Emirates Research and Studies Research Center, launched a research study entitled “The Third Sector: Promoting Social, Economic and Diplomatic Sustainability in Arab Societies”, in conjunction with the launch of the activities of the Dubai International Relief and Development Conference and Exhibition “Dihad 2025”, with the aim of highlighting the vital roles of the third sector in supporting cultural identity, achieving sustainable development, and empowering Arab societies Socially and economically.
His Excellency Dr. Sultan Al -Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Vice President of the Arab Youth Center said that the Arab Youth Center is working in cooperation with research institutions to issue a series of specialized knowledge products to support the efforts of decision makers and institutions through data and studies that contribute to enhancing the role of youth in various areas of development work, especially those concerned with enabling them to excel and pioneering in public benefit institutions and humanitarian and developmental work.
He added: “We were keen to contribute to this study in conjunction with the Dihad Conference, to provide a more comprehensive image of the growing impact of the third sector in enhancing the flexibility of Arab societies, its role in establishing the values of societal solidarity, and the contribution of young people in this sector to expand the channels of soft power and cultural diplomacy of Arab societies, in addition to the challenges they face, and some practical recommendations and proposals aimed at increasing its effectiveness And its sustainability through supporting policies and multiple partnerships.
The Arab Youth Center participated in a number of the activities of the conference, most notably a broad discussion session organized by the Federal Youth Foundation entitled “Arab Youth: Effective Leadership in the Third Sector”, during which the most prominent features of the “Young Leadership in the Third Sector” program were reviewed, which was launched earlier to prepare young competencies capable of work and leadership in civil society organizations and non -profit authorities.
The program is a comprehensive fellowship model that combines theoretical and experimental education with skills and practical training, in addition to simulating realistic models that contribute to identifying best practices for the work of the third sector, enabling participants to directly interact with experienced and decision -makers, and participate in international conferences and workshops, in order to enhance strategic thinking and contribute to serving societies and enabling young people to take leadership sites.
