His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense, in the northwestern region today, witnessed the exercise of the “elite” special forces at the Ministry of Defense.
Immediately after the arrival of His Highness, the royal peace was played, then the Director of the Joint Special Operations Center for Exercise authorized His Highness the Minister of Defense to provide an explanation of the center, during which His Highness the Minister of Defense was briefed on the roles and responsibilities of the center, then His Highness watched a visual presentation on the “elite” special forces, and the technical and organizational capabilities, which embody the Ministry’s vision to develop specialized forces with high readiness.

After that, His Highness was briefed on explaining the hypothesis, which comes as a continuation of the series of exercises that included the implementation of the operational publication of the elite special forces elements in various environments and special and qualitative tasks.
After that, His Highness the Minister of Defense moved to the main platform, reviewed the implementation of the hypothesis, then the memorial photo was taken on this occasion, and His Highness the Minister of Defense delivered a guidance speech to the participants.

Honoring the participants

At the end of the exercise, His Highness the Minister of Defense preferred to honor the participants from the elite special forces, and His Highness received a memorial gift on this occasion.
The exercise was attended by Chairman of the General Staff, First Lieutenant General Fayyad bin Hamed Al -Ruwaili, the Commander of the Joint Forces, Lieutenant General Fahd bin Hamad Al -Salman, Chief of Staff of the Land Forces, Lieutenant General Fahd bin Saud Al -Juhani, Chief of Staff of the Naval Forces, Lieutenant General Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al -Ghribi, Director General of the Office of the Minister of Defense Hisham bin Abdulaziz bin Saif, Commander of the Northwest region, Major General Hussein bin Saeed Al -Qahtani, and a number of officials.
