Gaza journalists live the World Press Freedom Day
& nbsp; dozens of journalists, today, Saturday, in front of the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip, the International Day for Freedom of the Press, raising pictures of their martyrs colleagues who rose in the war of extermination.
& nbsp; As well as activists and human rights activists, demanding international protection to journalists, ending the policy of silence and collusion with the crimes committed against the media in Gaza. The Deputy Syndicate of Journalists, Tahsin Al -Astal, said: & quot; we salute this day and the blood of our colleagues is still on the sidewatives of hospitals and destroyed homes. He added: & quot; we hold the occupation full responsibility for these crimes, and we call on international institutions to move seriously to hold the killers accountable. We also appeal to the international media to stand by our side, not to be silent in the face of the massacre & quot;. Al -Astal indicated that the media reality in Gaza has become among the most dangerous in the world, in the absence of any safety guarantees, the exposure of press institutions to destruction, and the deprivation of media professionals of the simplest tools of work. Since the start of the extermination war on the Gaza Strip, 212 journalists, some of whom elevated with their families inside their homes, were martyred, while 409 others were injured, including amputation and permanent paralysis, in addition to the arrest of 48 journalists, according to official sources. & nbsp;
