Still in Washington.. Vance delays his trip to Pakistan for talks with Iran

America and Iran Negotiations

For its part, Pakistan, which acts as a mediator between the two warring parties, announced that the ceasefire would end at 23.50 GMT Tuesday.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei said that no final decision had been taken regarding participation in the talks.
He said that "The reason for this is not hesitation, but rather that we are facing contradictory messages, contradictory behaviors, and unacceptable actions from the American side".
