14.42 billion riyals financing facilities for the private sector in Saudi Arabia

Commercial banks provided financing facilities for private sector imports in Saudi Arabia, last March, estimated at 14.421 billion riyals.
According to the monthly statistical bulletin issued by the Saudi Central Bank, “it increased to the private sector imports on an annual, and monthly basis by 3.2%, and 4.4, respectively.

Car imports

The newsletter stated that the auto sector exports the financing facilities of imports of 2.755 billion riyals, an increase of 20.3% on a monthly basis, while it decreased by 0.5% on an annual basis.
The bulletin showed that the building materials sector came second for financing facilities for the private sector imports with 2 billion riyals, up by 8.2% on a monthly basis, while decreased by 5.4% on an annual basis.
She stated that the machinery sector came third with a value of 970 million riyals, low on a monthly basis by 2.1%, while it increased by 33.4% on an annual basis.

Food

The fourth place was ranked fourth in the food facilities sector for private sector imports, recording: 802 million riyals, down 19%, on a monthly basis, and 16% on an annual basis.
Imports in the food sector were distributed over 231 million riyals for grains, 16 million riyals for fruits and vegetables, 118 million riyals for livestock and meat, 23 million riyals for sugar, tea and coffee, and 414 million riyals for other foodstuffs.
It came in the fifth rank of the volume of financing facilities for private sector imports from banks, the devices sector, with a value of 265 million riyals, up 48% on a monthly basis, while increased by 26.8% on an annual basis.
In the sixth rank, the textiles and clothing sector came with a value of facilities of 79 million riyals, high on a monthly basis by 27.4%, so it decreased by 4.8%on an annual basis.
According to the bulletin, the value of the financing facilities for the private sector imports, from other commodities, reached 6.367 billion riyals last March.
